Short horror game about a man taking shelter in the middle of a thunderstorm. Made for #FearJam2018.
View GameJolt PageThe player can traverse the cabin in 3D using WASD. They must examine objects left in the cabin to learn what has happened there. By doing so, they may be able to escape their past mistakes once and for all.
Players are hopefully entertained by a mixture of mystery, foreboding, and tomatoes. The game becomes a race against time as the player must discover what to do as their death grows nearer.
I coded c# scripts relating to the game's ending sequence, and I positioned all of the objects found within the cabin using Unity. I also modeled and textured a few original assets for the game using Maya. My partner for this 3-day game jam was fellow RIT game design student Nick Engell. The rest of the assets in the game were obtained for free from the Unity Asset Store.
